I've seen Luttrell linked with scams. But if they are asking for money up front, it is a scam. NEVER pay up front.

I could not find anything negative on this person. With that being said. If you are uncertain as to whether you will be scammed or not then don't even consider using this person's services. Why take any chances?

Furthermore, There is not much this service can do for you that you can not do for yourself or learn from reading any books this man has published. That is, if you truly believe his ideas and methods can help you.

One thing to remember always. If there are upfront fees for services there is most likely something fishy going on.

You should never have to pay to get out of debt or settle any debt unless you are 1. working with like lawyers or a law firm that requires a retainer or something similar or 2. paying on the debt its self to eliminate it.

Try running the names thru and see what turns up there.

I think that it is a sure sign of fraud if you are required to pay 3k UPFRONT for a loan. I dont know how much you owe but I did not pay 3k to get a mortgage so I am assuming that you are borrowing way less than that....
Use the 3k to pay down your debt
