Has anyone ever used the Federal Debt Relief System?

debt relief
scarbx4 asked:

I am possibly thinking about using this company to eliminate my debt. I am to a point that I want to be debt free and I have been researching this company. I just do not know if I should eliminate the debt myself or let this company help me. Any advice would be great!

I don’t know anything about this particular company, but I do know that most of those types of companies that are supposed to ‘work with your creditors and combine monthly payments” are hoaxes that steal your money. I have worked as a data intake worker for several vets or doctors. Lots of clients have come in with complaints that these bills were supposed to be “combined” and paid by some third person company that they contracted. We were never contacted or paid by any 3rd person agent. I do think that the states atty general here has even started to investigate some of them. So be careful. Check with your local State Atty General’s office to see if there have been complaints about that company and check with the BBB. It would be tragic for you to loose money to a shyster.

most of these types of companies do little to pay off the debt. you can do that yourself. i’d avoid them. get on a plan. pay the debt off yourself.

I **** debt also. In fact, last year I decided to repair my bad credit (FICO Score = 540) and researched a lot of companies because my friends told me there were a lot of scams out there. I found a great site and they offer many solutions ( ) and now my credit score is 746. I was able to accomplish this for less than $100.

If you are going to go this route, please consider calling Consumer Credit Counseling Services at 1-800-388-2227.

They are the largest non-profit credit counseling service in the Country.

I used them several years ago and they worked with my creditors to lower both my monthly payments and my interest rate. I was debt free in 36-months.

There is a great place to go with this. I was in a very similar situation.

This is getting help from real people without the use of banks or credit card companies. Good Luck!

Hi, i’ve never heard of this company either, but you may want to try for info regarding bankrupcy… Its a hard decision, there are definitely options for you. A place like this you will most likely need to pay… never do that..
