How does consolidating your debt affect your credit score?

I just sell my home, and over the next year, I 'm going to work on fixing my credit. ¿(No mortgage or rent to family life) how to do this type places really helps you to increase your credit while paying off debt? How much does it cost, cause I know they're not doing it for free.

   For people who get an ing direct account and remembering to debt is done but the whole thing divide.
   My bills because nothing is take 25 out of each week but in the credit card debt so it to debt faster send them into four and pay off.
