How to view public debt records for your city?

I’m currently buying a restaurant to start a business and I was wondering how do you check if they ever had a debt or if they currently have a debt?(The restaurant is in Coconut Creek,Florida)

   Try Dun and Bradstreet. However, you did take an Accountant with you to go over “the books” I hope.
