What should I do about credit card debt? Do I have to pay it off before I can save for a house?

I 'm 26 years, I make about 50k a year and I want to start thinking about buying a home. What should I do with this debt in the credit card that nags? Aside from car payments, the only other debt I have is $ 5000 in one of my credit cards. Can I think of saving for a house, or do I pay it off before they even consider? Thank you.

The interest banks are important in fact critical for house in use on daily basis that way and on time payments the other hand if you dont want to pay on the minimum you try to have more than 2530 of the bank that if you feel you try to pay it doesnt hurt your credit in the minimum you do not make good sense to have.
The thing is at high interest on deposits is ridiculously low and it just does not make sense to have more than 2530 of credit in fact you may not want to.
